might have might have been read as me joking (albeit with a justified paranoia that some "conservatives" would indeed try and skip around the "vengeance is mine" theory).
Anyhoo, and notwithstanding Lee's deadpan is hard to judge (like Tim, I find intensely North European-looking Jesus a bit odd), that seller does have some stuff that intrigues me. Absolutely straight up, I really do like this:
Again, I have no idea why AAAA flame or quilt maple should be covered with solid paint (A ratings are generally meant to denote figuring; some ash can have lovely grain) but the hardware's good and all the inevitable compromises are well-judged. I also think the proportions are right and butterscotch looks lovely. Twin-necks don't really make sense, but it doesn't stop me thinking I'd like it for the heck. |
That one is quite nice, nice flow on the body shape, necks do look a bit odd, i wonder if a double neck Tele/Strat has ever been produced, the top half of a Strat with a 62 neck and the bottom half of a Tele, with any Tele neck other than that horendous 50's one, that would be very interesting, glw will know... |

Yep, I've seen one of those (doubleneck Strat Tele). Isn't there a pic of one on the old Strat Collectors website? (Just checked - http://www.stratcollector.com/ - it's a Strat/Esquire doubleneck).
There were a couple of Gibson Les Paul/Fender Strat doublenecks made - obviously two guitars that had been joined together. I can't remember who the main guy was who used one of these, although apparently the other guy who's got one is Ozzy Osbourne and he's not a guitarist. |

| That looks very nice, esquire is a strange choice though, for something like this you would surely go for a 3 pickup Tele like the Nashville or Jerry Donaghue. |

Nicely deciphered 1bassleft, that was the final of several drunken drafts, not wanting to cause offence but picking up on the inaccuracy of the image...
EDIT: As for the twin-neck, I'd love to see a useful one executed so well, but the 6/6 ones just leave me cold...you could add a pickup to a 6-string and get the same effect surely?! |

| Tim, not if you wanted to use a different tuning on one neck or else set it up for slide playing or something. |

Ah, cunning...drunken mind didn't think of that, still, two different tunings in one song...boo!
Should be a 6/12 |

Another "Dobbin" puts you in the frame, glw. Who'd want to buy this guitar? Why a twerp, of course.
Speaking of (non-amp making) marshall, since when did he start taking on skinheads in Harrington jackets? Gunfight at the ASBO corral? |
