Harmony guitars have been sold for yonks, usually as lower-end models but they have fans. There is a guy in Kansas who set up a website:
http://harmonyusa.blogspot.com/
and you'll probably find it useful to contact him. |

Many thanks.
My brother bought a Valencia guitar in the legendary Hessy's Music shop when it was in Manchester Street in Liverpool in 1959.
I happened to get one on Ebay and have restored it. It looks great now but is, as you say a lower end instrument.
Mind you, Seasick Steve's guitar collection just about covers his bus fare and he still makes some great sounds, as for Willie Nelson's guitar!
There's a lot to be said for budget instruments. |

Thanks for the reply and your story, AcSo. I've never played a Harmony myself but I know of the fanbase. I think the site I linked above has a page on famous players with one. IIRC, we have some Seasick Steve tifosi here as well.
Welcome to the site, if I didn't say that already |
