Hello
A sample posted a few months ago.

Eric, a friend of mine (he's a guitarist pro), played the lead guitar.
John, played two tracks with his synth.

.....hope you like the new version.

To be honest, not really my cup of tea, ive always offered honest opinions on your past work, and i really like the 2 part acoustic guitar stuff you do, i could play that all day, but this mix sounds like your guitar soloist had a 3.31 sec notefest. don't like the guitar (solo) tones, don't like the synth sounds or drums, and probably the best bit (your guitar) has left behind at the starting grid.
I love playing solo's but i hate listening to them when they run for more than 8 bars.

Are you still using your new Zoom recorder?

Guy, is this a reworking of your track "Weird"?

Apols if I'm wrong, I'm playing the file at an absurdly low vol so as not to wake anyone. "Weird" is not one my faves of yours; your strengths are in the subtlties and rich melodies you play - not featured very much in that track. HST, Eric's playing over a strange tuning and I can see he's going for a non-commercial, almost avante-guarde style deliberately. I quite like some of the lead and also the keyboard featuring the piano patch. Not so much the other synth parts.

Why not have a go with the others at playing Marrakech? That's a great piece and open to contributions from your fellow players.

Can't say i liked any of the Solo guitar, my ears go in to immediate shut down mode when i hear a very heavily sustained and and gained up to the max guitar tone.
I like all your acoustic guitar stuff, you have a very good touch on an acoustic and a very listenable style, you can write a well crafted song, but so far ive not been impressed by any of your collaborated songs.
I would love to hear some of your stuff recorded live with a real drummer, and a good bass player and a 'go lightly' 2nd acoustic.
Maybe it's me, i really don't like long guitar solo's, be they avantgarde or mainstream.
