| I like the way he has used a perplex scratchplate so that you can see the whole design, very nice touch. |

Thought i'd get the first one in for 2009.
OK, so you want to hand build a guitar, you go trough a lot of time and effort sourcing materials, but which guitar do you want to mimick?
Strat? ...no
Les Paul? ... no
Some kind of gibson? jusy to give it a bit of class?
nope,
How about this:

Heres another, i bet he cut out the shark mouth before he worked out the position of the bridge, if thats right then i wonder what the scale of the guitar is?

That is just truly, truly wrong...the curves get fat in the middle and have straight bits randomly and are in the wrong place anyway.
...and is that a knee rest 3inch behind the bridge...? and fore-arm cut also behind the bridge...
I expect to see this on my next work ergonomics course (as a 'bad', obviously) Can I vote now for the Halloweenie?
And what's with the dead-plaice pickup?!
EDIT: and he's trying to sell it as an 'Electric-Classical'...that'll attract exactly the nylon-twangers who will pick up on the dire centre of balance...lucky it's got that 'Kidney-hook' to keep it in place... |
